Job summary

ICEYE Valencia is seeking a Radio Frequency Engineer to design, test, and advance satellite RF hardware and microwave systems. You’ll own link budgets, PCB design considerations, and measurements while diagnosing issues across the satellite lifecycle.

The role is hybrid in Valencia and involves close collaboration with the Space Systems department. You will work with cross‑functional teams to push the boundaries of small sensing satellites, perform root‑cause analysis, and support a growing

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Radio/RF/Communications/Signal/Electrical engineering.
• 5+ years of RF and microwave engineering experience including PCB design, link budget, and component selection.
• Familiar with measurement equipment and capable of performing advanced measurements.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills; able to tackle unconventional tasks.
• Ability to perform root-cause analysis on failures.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
• Comfortable in a multicultural environment.
• Ability to drive new projects technically and collaborate across domains.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Willingness to be involved in the satellite life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Design and test satellite RF hardware and push for continuous improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to develop a next‑generation satellite platform.
• Involve in design of passive and active microwave systems and provide technical support for the satellite fleet.
