ICEYE in Valencia, Spain, seeks a Senior Electronics Engineer to join the New Payload Team. You will design, test, and maintain electronic systems powering payloads and avionics, contributing across the product lifecycle from concept through on-orbit operations.

You’ll collaborate with RF, mechanical, and software teams to ensure integration, reliability, and performance, with ownership over hardware that flies in space. Remote/hybrid arrangement offered.

Formación

• 7-10+ years hands-on electronics engineering experience, with a strong specialization in analog design.
• BSc/MSc in Electronic Engineering or related field.
• Proven track record designing low-noise power supplies, timing circuits, and analog signal chains at a senior/expert level.
• Significant experience in the space, defense, or avionics industry, having worked on flight or mission-critical hardware.
• Strong command of EMI/EMC principles and best practices for noise mitigation.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex analog design efforts and mentor junior engineers.

Responsabilidades

• Design board-level electronic systems for satellite units and RF boards, with a strong focus on power and control circuits using microcontrollers.
• Perform rigorous testing and validation of the electronics you design, ensuring functionality, reliability, and compliance with mission requirements.
• Create and maintain clear documentation, including schematics, PCB layouts, test plans, and procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during design, prototyping, manufacturing, and even in-orbit operations when needed.
• Work closely with RF engineers, mechanical engineers, software developers, and other specialists to ensure seamless integration.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of design practices, test coverage, and in-orbit performance monitoring.
