ICEYE in Valencia, Spain, is seeking an Engineering Satellite Build Lead to own end-to-end build, integration and testing of R&D satellites. You will plan AIT activities, lead the build team and manage build documentation, while ensuring traceability and knowledge transfer to production.

The role sits in the Space Systems Testing Team, with hybrid work up to 2 days/week. You will resolve novel problems in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with designers, procurement and operations teams.

Formación

• Broad, hands-on technical depth across mechanical, electronics, RF and software domains.
• Proven track record planning and executing hardware build, integration and test campaigns.
• Strong configuration management and parts traceability.
• Experience leading a build or AIT team, with hands-on participation.
• Ability to plan and hold a realistic AIT schedule across QM, FM, and units.
• Systematic, first-principles approach to cross-domain build problems.
• Clear written and verbal communication with designers and teams.
• Collaborative mindset for high-pressure environments.

Responsabilidades

• Own end-to-end build, integration, testing and delivery of R&D satellites.
• Plan AIT activities and timeline for the R&D build.
• Manage the build team and participate in build execution.
• Own build documentation and configuration tracking.
• Document lessons learned and provide feedback to designers.
• Plan and own QM system build and system qualification activities.
• Coordinate system-level testing and traceability for FM satellites.
• Ensure readiness and progress of tests across QM and FM.
