Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a Solution Engineer to advance our Salesforce CoE initiatives in Barcelona. You will drive requirement gathering, prototype potential solutions, and enable adoption across IT and business teams while collaborating on multi-project digitalization efforts.

Applicants should bring deep Salesforce knowledge (Flow, Apex, LWC), experience with multiple development methodologies, and strong communication with stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (Master's degree is a plus).
• Proven experience as a Solution Engineer in the Salesforce ecosystem with understanding of low-code/no-code/configuration and data integration.
• Experience collaborating with development teams and delivering solutions through Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or DevOps.
• Proficient in Flow, Trigger, Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Integration.
• Knowledge of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Agentforce.
• Solution-oriented to resolve business and operational challenges with practical, scalable solutions.
• Curious to learn and explore new technologies to support stakeholders in Salesforce options.
• Effective written and verbal communication, and ability to align with architects, developers, and business users.
• Strong presentation and stakeholder alignment skills.

Responsibilities

• Platform Leadership: provide technical guidance and support architecture reviews for Salesforce projects.
• Technology & Innovation: assess needs and recommend Salesforce technologies and tools.
• Solution Enablement: create prototypes and solution designs to meet business needs and drive adoption.
• Delivery & Support: collaborate to review, deploy, and maintain platform processes.
• Engineering Excellence: uphold development standards, code quality, and best practices.
