• 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Consultant on Salesforce implementation projects.
• Salesforce certifications such as Consumer Goods Cloud Accredited Professional, Salesforce Agentforce Specialist, or Sales Cloud Consultant.
• Hands-on functional experience with Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud, including Retail Execution, Visit Management, Trade Promotion Management, and Order Management.
• Proven client-facing experience with workshops, presentations, and stakeholder management.
• Strong requirements elicitation, process mapping, and documentation skills (BRD, functional specs, user stories).
• Experience in Agile delivery, backlog management, and cross-functional collaboration.

We are seeking a Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud Business Analyst to partner directly with client stakeholders in gathering, structuring, and validating business requirements for a Consumer Goods Cloud implementation. The role bridges business needs and technical delivery, translating retail execution, trade promotion, and field sales processes into functional designs, configuration specifications, and user stories that guide the Salesforce delivery team. The ideal candidate is comfortable leading workshops, owning requirement documentation, and managing client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead requirement-gathering workshops directly with client business and IT stakeholders across the project lifecycle.
• Translate retail execution, trade promotion management, and field sales processes into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.
• Perform fit-gap analysis against Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud standard capabilities (Retail Execution, Trade Promotion Management, Visit Management, Order Management) and recommend configuration or customization approaches.
• Own and maintain the functional backlog, working closely with Solution Architects, Developers, and QA to ensure accurate implementation.
• Support UAT planning and execution, including test scenario definition, defect triage, and client sign-off coordination.
• Act as the primary functional point of contact for the client, managing expectations, status updates, and change requests.
• Produce and maintain business process documentation, requirement traceability matrices, and training materials.
• Support data migration and integration discussions from a business/functional perspective, including ERP and trade promotion system interfaces.
• Contribute to solution design discussions, ensuring recommendations align with consumer goods industry best practices and client objectives.

Required skills

• 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Consultant on Salesforce implementation projects.
• Salesforce certifications such as Consumer Goods Cloud Accredited Professional, Salesforce Agentforce Specialist, or Sales Cloud Consultant.
• Hands-on functional experience with Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud, including Retail Execution, Visit Management, Trade Promotion Management, and Order Management capabilities.
• Proven client-facing experience, including leading workshops, presenting to stakeholders, and managing business relationships directly.
• Strong requirements-elicitation, process-mapping, and documentation skills (BRD, functional specs, user stories).
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments, managing backlogs and collaborating with cross-functional technical teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for business audiences and vice versa.
• Experience supporting UAT cycles, defect management, and go-live readiness activities.
• Understanding of consumer goods / CPG business processes, including field sales, merchandising, and retail store execution.
• The candidate must be available to attend the client's offices in Barcelona 1 to 2 days per week.

Should have

• Prior experience implementing Consumer Goods Cloud (or Vlocity-based industry cloud) end-to-end, from discovery through go-live.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in CPG, FMCG, or retail distribution industry verticals.
• Familiarity with OmniStudio components, mobile field sales apps, and image recognition/shelf audit tools.
• Prior experience in a nearshore/delivery-center model supporting multi-market client engagements.
