Job summary

OMODA & JAECOO Motors, part of the Chery Group, is expanding across Europe with its European HQ in Barcelona. We seek a seasoned professional to coordinate sales demand planning and order management across European markets, aligning market demand with manufacturing and supply chain operations.

You will work with international teams, lead KD component procurement, and manage rolling forecasts and delivery plans, enabling stable production and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Fluent English required, additional languages considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead European regional order planning and demand forecasting activities across subsidiaries and distributors.
• Develop and consolidate annual sales demand plans, rolling six-month forecasts (N+6) and monthly delivery plans (M+1).
• Coordinate KD component procurement orders with China and align with European manufacturing schedules.
• Collaborate with international teams in sales, supply chain, procurement, finance and production planning.
• Monitor and manage delivery schedules, risks, and corrective actions with stakeholders.

• Coordinate the release of Knocked Down (KD) component orders to China, ensuring alignment with European market demand and factory production schedules.


• Manage the monthly order release process, ensuring the appropriate timing and quantities of KD component orders.


• Collaborate with European subsidiaries, general distributors, and production planning teams to align order delivery schedules with manufacturing requirements.


• Coordinate KD component procurement orders and work with finance teams to ensure payment arrangements are completed before shipment.


• Monitor KD component deliveries, including quantities, shipment schedules, arrival ports, and vehicle model specifications.


• Maintain regular communication with China-based KD order management teams to track production and delivery progress.


• Identify potential delivery delays or supply disruptions, communicate risks proactively, and coordinate corrective actions with relevant stakeholders.


• Work closely with European factory planning teams to ensure timely material availability and support stable production operations.


• Support cross-functional initiatives and continuous improvements in sales planning, order management, and supply chain coordination.


• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field.


• At least 5 years of relevant experience in sales planning, order management, supply chain planning, or similar positions.


• Previous experience in the automotive manufacturing industry is highly preferred.


• Solid understanding of procurement, supply chain management, logistics operations, and order management processes.


• Proven experience managing demand forecasts, rolling plans, order schedules, and coordination between commercial and manufacturing teams.


• Strong ability to coordinate with international stakeholders, including sales subsidiaries, suppliers, and production planning teams.


• Excellent organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.


• Ability to identify operational issues, coordinate follow-up actions, and ensure effective resolution.


• Strong teamwork, self-motivation, and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced international environment.


• Fluent English is required. Spanish, Chinese, or other European languages are considered an advantage.


• Availability to travel domestically and internationally according to business needs.
