Job summary

OMODA & JAECOO Motors, part of the Chery Group, is seeking a senior IT/digital PM to lead the European aftersales IT roadmap from Barcelona. You will drive cross-functional collaboration with HQ IT in China and European management to implement AI-enabled platforms and data integrations across markets.

The role requires 8+ years in IT/digital PM, 3+ years in automotive aftersales, and strong stakeholder coordination in a multinational environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in IT, digital project management, or product management.
• At least 3 years of experience working with automotive aftersales or dealer systems (DMS, warranty, parts catalogues, CRM).
• Proven experience implementing or rolling out IT systems across multiple European countries.
• Fluent in English; Mandarin is a strong advantage; other European languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel within Europe and to headquarters in China.

Responsibilities

• Lead the European aftersales IT and digital roadmap, including annual project planning and budget management.
• Oversee system integrations and data flows between DMS, European market platforms, and HQ systems.
• Coordinate system rollouts across European markets, including deployment planning, user training, and operational support.
• Lead the development and deployment of AI-based solutions and ensure regulatory compliance (GDPR, EU Data Act, AI Act).
• Apply IT security, access management, and business continuity standards across aftersales systems.

• Define and execute the European aftersales IT and digital roadmap, including annual project planning and budget management.
• Act as the main liaison between European aftersales operations and HQ IT in China, ensuring alignment between global IT architecture and regional business requirements.
• Lead the management and continuous improvement of aftersales IT systems, including requirements gathering, product backlog prioritization, functional specifications, testing, and deployment.
• Manage system integrations and data flows between Dealer Management Systems (DMS), European market platforms, and HQ systems, covering warranty claims, spare parts, repair orders, and service history.
• Oversee the development, implementation, and optimization of digital solutions supporting automotive aftersales operations.
• Lead the development and deployment of AI-based solutions, from business case definition and pilot testing to implementation across European markets.
• Ensure compliance with relevant European regulations, including GDPR, EU Data Act, SERMI, Battery Regulation, and AI Act, in coordination with Legal and IT teams.
• Apply IT security, access management, and business continuity standards across aftersales systems.
• Coordinate system rollouts across European markets, including deployment planning, user training, adoption, and operational support.
• Establish aftersales data governance frameworks, standardized KPIs, and reporting dashboards to support management decision-making.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in IT, digital project management, or product management.
• At least 3 years of experience working with automotive aftersales or dealer systems, such as DMS, warranty management, parts catalogues, technical information systems, or CRM.
• Proven experience implementing or rolling out IT systems across multiple European countries.
• Experience collaborating with international headquarters, ideally outside Europe.
• Strong understanding of automotive aftersales processes and system integration, including APIs and interconnected digital platforms.
• Good knowledge of cloud platforms, data management, Business Intelligence (BI) tools, and AI applications.
• Working knowledge of European regulations affecting automotive aftersales systems.
• Strong project management, stakeholder coordination, and cross-functional communication skills.
• Analytical, structured, and hands-on approach to problem-solving and digital transformation.
• Ability to work effectively in international and multicultural environments.
• Fluent in English. Mandarin Chinese is a strong advantage, while additional European languages are considered a plus.
• Willingness to travel within Europe and to headquarters in China.
