Taizen, Barcelona-based, is hiring an SDR for a phone-first outbound role. You will drive high-quality GTM meetings with senior leaders, working in person at least 4 days a week to build an outbound playbook and revenue motion.
You’ll collaborate with the founders, practice objections using Taizen's AI Roleplay, and push to scale the outreach as the company grows, with a clear path toward leadership.
Join us as an SDR to get GTM leaders on the phone and put high-quality meetings on the calendar — for a product you can actually use to get better at the job.
Barcelona, in person at least 4 days/week
€30k base + €15k variable (€45k OTE), uncapped
Taizen builds purpose-built AI agents for Product Marketing, Sales Enablement, Sales, and Revenue Operations teams.
Our agents connect to tools like Gong, Salesforce, HubSpot, and Slack, then proactively run recurring workflows without waiting to be prompted.
We help GTM teams with things like:
We’re two ex-Spotify engineers who’ve shipped and scaled software used by millions, VC funded, and building with real customers every week.
We’re early, which means you’ll work directly with the founders and have a real say in how we build our outbound motion.
This is a phone-first role.
Cold calling is our highest‑leverage outbound channel and it’s how you’ll spend a significant part of your day.
Your job is not to send sequences and hope someone replies. Your job is to get the right GTM leaders on the phone, create genuine interest, and earn a high‑quality meeting. Email and LinkedIn support the calls.
You’ll be our first SDR and will help us figure out what works: who to target, the opening line, the pitch, the objections, and the follow‑up. As we grow, that playbook becomes something you can help own and scale.
We care about activity, but we care more about the outcome.
Your main job is to put high‑quality meetings on the calendar that can turn into real sales opportunities.
Native‑level English is essential. You'll be speaking with native English‑speaking executives on the phone every day.
Beyond that, we're deliberately not looking for a perfect CV.
We're looking for someone who is:
You do not need previous SaaS or SDR experience.
Cold calling, telesales, recruitment, fundraising, hospitality, or another customer‑facing role can all be useful backgrounds.
And if you've never done any of those but can show us you have the raw communication skills, drive, and learning speed, we'll take that seriously too.
We're early‑stage, so there isn't a giant sales organization or a 200‑page playbook waiting for you.
That's part of the opportunity.
You’ll sit next to the founders, hear how deals actually get created and closed, and see the connection between a call you make and revenue coming into the company.
You’ll also be selling a product that can literally make you better at your job. Want to practise an objection before calling a VP Sales? Build the scenario in Taizen and call the AI buyer first.
If you're exceptional, we want the role to grow with you — whether that's becoming a senior SDR, moving into an Account Executive role, or eventually helping us build the SDR team.
Your trajectory here will be determined much more by what you can do than how many years you've been doing it.
If you're reading this thinking "give me the phone and I'll prove I can do it", we'd like to hear from you.
