Almanac Barcelona is seeking a highly motivated student to support the Sales team. The role involves handling guest service, trade-show support, and contract documentation under supervision.

Strong MS Office skills and experience with PMS Opera are preferred, with fluency in English and Spanish and additional Catalan language skills seen as a plus. Responsibilities include maintaining databases, assisting newsletters, and collaborating on national and international hotel programs.

Qualifications

• Student pursuing a bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Tourism Management, or related field.
• Very good Microsoft Office skills and experience with PMS Opera are expected.
• High level of English and Spanish; knowledge of Catalan is a plus.

Almanac Barcelona is hiring through Hosco in Barcelona.

Mission To support and assist the Sales team in a professional and proactive manner.

Tasks and responsibilities

• PROVIDE THE HIGHEST STANDARD OF SERVICE TO GUESTS.


• Support at industry trade shows (pre-show marketing and post-show follow-up).


• Manage customer databases and external communications.


• Support administrative tasks for the sales department.


• Gathering market and customer information.


• Prepare all necessary documentation for contracts with sales representatives.


• Securing and maintaining up-to-date databases.


• Prepare all the necessary documentation to be part of consortiums and programs aimed at projecting the hotel nationally and internationally.


• Participate in the process of creating newsletters to be sent monthly.


• Follow-up of the sales agenda.


• Actively collaborate with the hotel's sales actions.


• Contacting potential local clients via email and newsletter to keep them up to date with the hotel's news.


• Tripadvisor and El Tenedor account updates.


• Agency 360 report analysis, commercial research, communication to our sales partners.


• Prepare account report for sales manager.


• Review results in Lanyon.


• Student pursuing a bachelor’s degree or diploma preferably in Hospitality Management, Tourism Management, or any related field.


• Very good Microsoft Office skills.


• Experience with PMS Opera.


• High level of English and Spanish.


• Catalan and other languages are a plus.


• Experience in other operational departments of the hotel is a plus.
