Frey Recruitment seeks a Rotational Engineer for a 30m performance sailing yacht competing in a high-level racing program. You will support the engineering team both onboard and ashore to ensure peak yacht performance during regattas across the Mediterranean and Caribbean circuit.

The role is time-for-time, with initial coverage to ensure continuity and smooth operation through the season, starting in Palma anytime from now to November.

A 30m performance sailing yacht is seeking a Rotational Engineer to join an exciting and highly professional racing program.

With several regattas planned throughout 2027, this is a unique opportunity to become part of a program operating at the highest level of performance sailing. The yacht is supported by an experienced race team, and the engineering department plays a key role in ensuring the yacht is prepared and performing at every event.

This is a time-for-time rotational position. Whilst the long-term aim is to operate with one engineer on and one engineer off for regattas, both engineers will initially attend to ensure continuity and support throughout the program.

The ideal candidate will come from a performance sailing yacht background and understand the pace, demands and attention to detail required within a professional racing environment. Candidates with previous experience on Maxi, J Class or similar high-performance sailing yachts would be highly advantageous.

The successful candidate will work closely with the wider technical and race team, contributing both onboard and ashore to keep the yacht operating at the highest standard throughout the season.
