ABB Robotics seeks an experienced Robotic Applications Engineer to bridge product development with real-world deployments. You will join a team in Sant Quirze del Vallès and Zurich, collaborating with project, support, and R&D teams to enhance robustness and scalability of robotic systems.

The role emphasizes hands-on work with robotic platforms, diagnostics, and customer-facing problem solving, requiring initiative and autonomy.

Formación

• 3+ years of robotics-related industrial experience.
• Strong Python software engineering and debugging skills.
• Familiarity with Linux-based systems and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with localization, mapping, navigation, perception, or AMRs; ROS/ROS2 experience.

Responsabilidades

• Link product development with real-world deployments of ABB Robotics tech.
• Investigate field issues, analyze performance, identify root causes, and develop fixes.
• Develop tools and software adaptations to improve diagnostics and integration.
• Collect field feedback to identify gaps and drive future product development.
