ABB Robotics in Spain invites an experienced software engineer to join our hybrid team working across sensor calibration for autonomous mobile robots. You will develop reliable C++, Python, and Rust code, contribute to calibration algorithms, and collaborate with international experts.

Based in Sant Quirze del Vallès / Barcelona area with potential travel to Zurich, this role emphasizes robust software foundations, performance, and scalable solutions in a fast-moving robotics environment.

Formación

• Degree in Computer Science, Robotics or related field.
• 3+ years in software engineering, robotics or computer vision.
• Strong C++ and Python; focus on high-quality, high-performance code.
• Rust experience is a plus; willingness to learn required.
• Able to work autonomously and in a global team; English communication.

Responsabilidades

• Prototype and test sensor calibration algorithms for precision and robustness.
• Collaborate across teams to resolve calibration issues in the field.
• Write algorithm and software infrastructure code, including design and debugging.
• Deliver modern C++, Rust and Python code; participate in reviews.
• Deploy calibration tools on ARM64 SoC powering robots; collaborate globally.
