Placements24 is seeking a proactive Civil Site Engineer to manage construction activities for roads and infrastructure projects on a live site in Queenstown, Eastern Cape. You will ensure work complies with design specs, quality standards and safety regulations, while coordinating on-site teams.

In this field-based role you will supervise construction activities, monitor progress, resolve technical issues with the project team, and prepare routine progress reports.

Qualifications

• B.Eng or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of civil engineering construction experience.
• Experience in site supervision and project execution.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials and quality control.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations on construction sites.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and manage daily construction activities on site, ensuring adherence to project plans and schedules.
• Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Conduct quality control checks and inspections of materials and workmanship.
• Identify and resolve site-specific technical issues and conflicts in coordination with the project team.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for site activities.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors and direct labor on site.
