Job summary

Grand Hyatt Barcelona is seeking a Revenue Trainee to join the Commercial team. This internship focuses on data analysis, revenue optimization, and pricing across distribution channels within a luxury hotel environment.

You will learn from the Revenue team, contribute to market analysis, and support daily revenue reporting and system maintenance while developing practical insights for profitability.

Qualifications

• Studying Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Economics, Data Analytics, Finance or related field and able to sign an internship agreement.
• Fluency in Spanish; English highly valued.
• Highly organized, analytical, and strategically minded.
• Comfort with numbers and Microsoft Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assist in generating and analyzing daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reports.
• Monitor competitor pricing, market trends, and positioning.
• Perform daily rate parity checks across channels to ensure consistency.
• Support inventory management, rate loading, and system updates.
• Assist in tracking historical data and preparing demand forecasts.
• Help maintain PMS and RMS systems.
• Participate in weekly revenue strategy meetings and support administrative tasks.
