Zurich Insurance Group's Technology Delivery Center in Barcelona is seeking an AI Governance Specialist to drive responsible AI practices across the organization. You will advise cross-functional teams, assess AI risks, and help implement governance frameworks to ensure ethical, compliant AI deployments.

The role focuses on monitoring EU regulatory developments, applying standards, and delivering actionable governance guidance to stakeholders involved in AI initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, data or related field.
• Proven experience in AI governance, risk management and compliance.
• Knowledge of EU AI Act and governance standards (NIST RMF, ISO 42001).
• Ability to assess AI/ML systems and data usage for risk implications.
• Experience designing and scaling governance frameworks in regulated settings.

Responsibilities

• Monitor AI regulations, standards and best practices to strengthen governance.
• Apply AI governance frameworks, policies and regulatory requirements to use cases.
• Conduct AI risk and impact assessments across the organization.
• Advise stakeholders on Responsible AI requirements and governance expectations.
• Provide independent, evidence-based challenge and recommendations on assessments.
• Develop and enhance AI governance processes, controls and review methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliant AI deployment.
• Review AI/ML systems for methodology, data usage, performance and risks.
• Produce clear assessment reports and governance communications for transparency.
