Job summary

Sofitel Barcelona Skipper, a luxury 5-star hotel in Barcelona, is offering an internship in the Reservations department. You will handle individual and group bookings, communicate with guests by phone and email, and use Opera (PMS) and Resaweb to manage reservations.

The internship requires current enrollment in a Hospitality or Business School, legal right to intern in Spain, and a 6-month, full-time commitment. Spanish and English fluency is essential; French is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have legal right to undertake an internship in Spain from start date.
• Currently enrolled in a Hospitality or Business School.
• Excellent command of Spanish and English; French is a plus.
• Available for at least 6 months, 5 days/week, 40 hours/week.

Responsibilities

• Customer care through phone and email demands.
• Manage individual and group (accommodation) reservations.
• Use of reservation programs: Opera (PMS) and Resaweb.
• Follow up of reservations across all shop channels to make them feel spoiled.
• Review all reservations to check their validity and details.
• Ensure eligibility to undertake an internship in Spain from the start date (no visa sponsorship).

Sofitel Barcelona Skipper is hiring through Hosco in Barcelona.Upscale, 5-star hotel in Barcelona, Port Olympic, being in the city center, but only a few meters from the beach. The main responsibilities include:

• Customer care through phone and email demands.
• Manage individual and group (accommodation) reservations.
• Use of reservation programs: Opera (PMS) and Resaweb.
• Follow up of any reservation no matter the shop channel making them all feel “spoiled”.
• Revise all the reservations on the books to check their validity and details.
• Eligibility (Spain): Candidates must have the legal right to undertake an internship in Spain from the start date. No visa/work permit sponsorship available.
• Currently enrolled in a Hospitality School or a Business School.
• Strong social and communication skills to build valued relationships.
• Proactive, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented.
• Excellent command of Spanish and English; French is a plus.
• Eager to learn (no prior specialization required).
• Available for at least 6 months, 5 days/week, 40 hours/week.
