Sofitel Barcelona Skipper is offering an internship in Barcelona, Spain, through Hosco. The program is aimed at students in Hospitality/Business School with a strong emphasis on learning all aspects of the Kitchen department.

It includes a study allowance and daily meals, with opportunities for internal training and international career development after the internship. Eligibility requires legal right to intern in Spain from the start date, fluency in Spanish and English (French a plus), and

Qualifications

• Eligibility (Spain): candidates must have the legal right to undertake an internship in Spain from the start date.
• Currently enrolled in a Hospitality School or a Business School.
• Strong social and communication skills; proactive and detail-oriented.
• Excellent command of Spanish and English; French is a plus.
• Available for at least 6 months, 5 days/week, 40 hours/week.

Responsibilities

• Learn to prepare the daily service and the mise-en-place.
• Cleaning and maintenance of your work area and the kitchenware.
• Learn to appropriate use of work machines and individual protection equipment.
• Correct storage of the prepared products in the appropriate chamber and identification of the preparation date.
• Annotating the necessary products for the next service.
• Proper order, cleaning, and maintenance of your work area.
• Compliance with the environmental policy.

• Available for at least 6 months, 5 days/week, 40 hours/week.
