Q ENERGY seeks a Protection & Control Engineer to design, develop, integrate and commission control and instrumentation systems for photovoltaic plants, wind farms, BESS and hybrids. You will define PPC architecture, coordinate with SCADA and TSO interfaces, and support testing and documentation.

The role requires a degree in Electrical/Automation engineering, 3+ years in industrial control, and fluency in Spanish and English.

Formación

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, Automation, Industrial or Telecommunications Engineering.
3+ years of experience in industrial control, SCADA, PPC or electrical protection.
Experience commissioning renewable plants and/or substations.
Fluency in Spanish and English; willingness to travel regularly across Spain.

Responsabilidades

Design, supervision and implementation of control of renewable generation plants (PV, wind, BESS, hybrids).
Integration of PPC with Plant and Substation SCADA Systems and with TSO systems.
Define PPC suppliers and ensure compliance with standards.
Configure PPC with redundancy and select suitable equipment.
Coordinate with electrical protection schemes and plant/substation integration.
Model and simulate using EMC/EMT tools (DIgSILENT, PSCAD, ETAP, MATLAB/Simulink).
Perform FAT/SAT testing and commissioning.
Provide alarm management and event analysis support to O&M.
Prepare specifications and diagrams for PPC integration.
