Jobtailor in Spain seeks an experienced engineer to design, supervise and implement control systems for photovoltaic, wind, BESS and hybrid renewable plants. You will define plant control architectures and integrate PPC with SCADA at plant and substation levels.

Responsibilities include supporting TSO integration, selecting PPC suppliers, enforcing standards, and coordinating protection systems and FAT/SAT testing.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, Automation, Industrial or Telecommunications Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in industrial control, SCADA, PPC or electrical protection.
• Experience commissioning renewable plants and/or substations.
• Strong technical expertise in PLC programming, AutoCAD, ETAP, Digsilent, PSSE or similar.
• Fluency in Spanish and English required.
• Willingness to travel regularly across project sites in Spain, with occasional stays of up to two weeks.
• English CV required.

Responsabilidades

• Design, supervise and implement engineering activities for control of photovoltaic, wind, BESS and hybrid renewable generation plants
• Define plant control architectures and integrate PPC with plant and substation SCADA systems
• Support integration with TSO systems and plant/substation control centres
• Define approved PPC supplier lists and ensure compliance with legislation and company standards
• Define PPC redundancy requirements and select suitable internal equipment
• Participate in definition, tuning, validation and coordination of plant and substation protection systems
• Support EMT and RMS modelling and simulation for grid-code and regulatory compliance
• Define and support FAT/SAT testing and commissioning
• Support O&M with alarm management and event analysis after commissioning
• Prepare and review PPC specifications, diagrams, signal lists, drawings and operational manuals
