Job summary

Elum Energy in Madrid is seeking a senior Project Delivery and Technical Execution lead to own international PPC/SCADA projects from kickoff to commissioning, with Africa as a key frontier. You’ll be the technical backbone and client’s go‑to person, coordinating a tight team of engineers and subcontractors.

You’ll design SCADA architectures, lead onsite and remote commissioning, and drive end‑to‑end delivery while expanding device integrations for BESS and other assets.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy.
• 5–10 years hands-on PPC/SCADA or control systems in utility-scale PV.
• Deep knowledge of SCADA architectures for solar plants.
• Fluent in English and French; strong communication skills.
• Experience onsite commissioning and device integrations.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end project management: budget, timeline, contracts, and risk.
• Coordinate internal engineering resources (SCADA development, hardware design) and subcontractors.
• Be the single point of accountability for customer satisfaction, from kickoff to go-live.
• Report progress to leadership and flag risks before they become problems.
• Design SCADA cabinet electrical architecture and plant network topology.
• Configure and master Elum’s PPC solution; lead onsite and remote commissioning.
• Define SCADA HMI technical specifications and hardware configurations.
• Lead internal initiatives to sharpen team practices and tooling.
• Design new device integrations to expand compatibility with BESS, Gensets, and beyond.
• Build and deliver training for newcomers and colleagues.
• Surface bugs and product improvements; support pre-sales with technical assessments.
