Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for the Remote Operations Center in Barcelona, Spain. You will monitor wind assets, lead technical analysis, and support both commissioning and service phases to ensure turbine reliability and performance throughout their lifecycle.

You will collaborate with site teams and engineering experts, reading electrical schematics, using SCADA and digital monitoring tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience in wind energy sector.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or electromechanical systems in operations.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply in troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics.
• Assist field teams in resolving issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear, structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvements.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operations optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, ensuring safety and compliance.
