Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for the Remote Operations Center (Wind Energy) in Barcelona, Spain. You will monitor turbine performance, perform remote diagnostics, and support field teams to ensure safe, efficient operation across commissioning and service phases.

You will analyze data, escalate complex issues with clear technical information, and drive continuous improvement while working in a collaborative global environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, or equivalent wind energy experience.
• Hands-on wind turbine experience in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics for troubleshooting and field support.
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% and relocate to Barcelona.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyze operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
