Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center (Wind) in Barcelona, Spain. You will monitor offshore wind assets, analyze alarms, and lead remote diagnostics to keep turbines operating reliably throughout their lifecycle.

You will work with site teams and engineers to resolve issues, improve processes, and ensure safe operation. Occasional travel and cross-functional collaboration are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyze operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
