GE Vernova invites a ROC Technical Lead to join the Remote Operations Center for offshore wind assets in Barcelona, Spain. You will monitor turbines, diagnose issues remotely, and support commissioning and service activities to ensure safe, reliable performance across the lifecycle.

Prospective candidates have an engineering degree, hands-on wind turbine experience, and proficiency with SCADA and electrical schematics.

Formación

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (or equivalent)
Hands-on wind turbine experience in operations
Ability to read electrical schematics for troubleshooting
Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving with clear technical communication
Willingness to travel up to 20% and relocate to Barcelona; EU work eligibility
Fluent English (spoken and written)

Responsabilidades

Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms
Remote diagnostics and troubleshooting for commissioning and service
Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance
Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information
Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems
Analyze operational data to identify faults, trends and improvement opportunities
Support reporting and communication of technical findings
Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation
Support grid outages with safety and compliance
Work on rotating weekday shift schedule with on-call weekends/public holidays
