GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for the Remote Operations Center (Wind Energy) based in Barcelona, Spain. The role focuses on safe and efficient operation of offshore wind assets, supporting commissioning and service phases, and collaborating with site teams to maintain turbine performance.

You will monitor performance, troubleshoot remotely, and contribute to continuous improvement while travelling up to 20% if required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience in wind energy sector.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or electromechanical systems in operational env.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting.

Aufgaben

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with occasional on‑call support during weekends and public holidays.
