Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center (Wind Energy) to monitor turbines, diagnose issues, and guide field teams from Barcelona or remote centers. You’ll work on commissioning and service, analyse data, and drive continuous improvements.

Requirements include a Engineering degree, wind energy experience, SCADA proficiency, and English fluency. Travel up to 20% and EU eligibility required; relocation to Barcelona expected where needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; calm under pressure and collaborative mindset.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time; EU work eligibility and relocation to Barcelona.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities via remote diagnostics.
• Assist field teams in resolving issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to solve problems.
• Analyze operational data to identify faults and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages with safety and compliance focus.
• Work rotating weekday shifts with on-call weekend/public holiday support.
