Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead to operate from a Remote Operations Center in Barcelona, coordinating wind asset performance and reliability. You will analyze data, guide remote diagnostics, and collaborate with site teams to ensure safe, efficient operations through commissioning and service phases.

The role requires hands-on wind turbine experience, SCADA proficiency, and the ability to read electrical schematics.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering or equivalent wind-energy experience.
Hands-on wind turbine or electromechanical systems experience.
Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot.
Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
Fluent English; willingness to relocate to Barcelona; EU work eligibility.

Responsibilities

Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
Analyze operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with on-call duties weekends/holidays.
