Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for the Remote Operations Center to oversee wind assets from a remote hub in Barcelona, ensuring safe, efficient operation across commissioning and service phases.

You will analyze turbine data, diagnose issues, and drive continuous improvements with cross-functional teams, while maintaining compliance and high reliability in a demanding, global energy environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in wind energy
Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems
Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting
Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools
Willingness to travel up to 20% and relocate to Barcelona, EU work eligibility

Responsibilities

Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions
Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting
Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance
Escalate complex issues with clear, structured technical information
Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems
Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends and improvement opportunities
Support reporting and communication of technical findings
Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation
Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance
Work on a rotating weekday shift with on-call support during weekends/public holidays
