Job summary

GE Vernova’s ROC Technical Lead—Remote Operations Center in Barcelona leads the safe, efficient operation of offshore wind assets from a remote hub. You will guide commissioning and service activities, diagnose issues remotely, and collaborate with site teams to optimise turbine performance.

You'll read electrical schematics, work with SCADA systems, and travel up to 20% when needed, with relocation to Barcelona and EU work eligibility required. Fluent English is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on wind turbines or electromechanical systems experience in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting and field support.
• Experience with SCADA systems and digital monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
