Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a meticulous US GAAP bookkeeper to work remotely from Spain. You will support US accounting firms by maintaining organized financial records across multiple entities, handling AP/AR, reconciliations, and month-end close.

Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and AI tools is essential. With 7+ years of experience and a strong understanding of US bookkeeping practices, you will work independently to ensure accurate financial reporting while communicating effectively with clients

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
• 2+ years in an accounting firm or CPA practice.
• Expert-level proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. bookkeeping practices and conventions.
• Ability to work remotely with high discretion and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records for multiple entities.
• Record and categorize transactions; prepare journal entries.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable; resolve discrepancies.
• Perform monthly bank and card reconciliations; assist with closings.
• Prepare bookkeeping reports and assist with financial statements.
• Collaborate with clients and accounting teams to obtain information.
• Use AI tools and modern tech to improve productivity and workflows.
• Ensure confidentiality and high-quality standards.
