Dwelly is seeking a Telecommunication Engineer to own the communication infrastructure powering customer and internal interactions. The role focuses on telephony, messaging, email, and WhatsApp channels, ensuring reliable operations and scalable integrations.

You will work with product, engineering and external providers, contributing to customer experience and team productivity. This is a fully remote role across UK, Ireland, and European time zones.

Formación

• Fluent in English and excellent communication skills.
• Strong understanding of telephony systems, SIP, trunks, routing logic, and VoIP operations.
• Experience troubleshooting telecom incidents across voice, SMS, email, or messaging channels.
• Ability to work with APIs, logs, JSON, webhooks, and provider documentation.
• Experience with providers such as Twilio, Vonage, Voximplant or similar.
• UK number porting experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Own day-to-day performance and reliability of Dwelly’s communication channels (IP telephony, SMS/RCS, email, WhatsApp).
• Build, maintain and optimise telephony routing for inbound/outbound calls and integrations.
• Deliver integrations across communication systems using APIs, webhooks, WebSockets, and AI-assisted workflows.
• Handle internal tickets for telecom issues and coordinate with vendors during incidents.
• Support acquisitions integrations, porting processes and automation to drive growth.
