Tether Data seeks a Technical Lead to own the architecture and delivery of a GPU compute and managed inference platform. You will lead a twelve-engineer team across Europe and India, shaping the next generation of AI workloads on bare-metal GPUs and Kubernetes control planes.

You will drive architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and partner with vendors to ensure_scalable, observable, and secure infrastructure.

Formación

Eight+ years of hands-on engineering experience, including leading teams that build infrastructure platforms.
Experience running Slurm for real users with partitions, QoS, and accounting.
GPU fleet operation on bare metal including NVIDIA driver and CUDA lifecycle.
Production Kubernetes operation with multi-tenant design and upgrades.
Excellent written and spoken English; ability to communicate with partners and leadership.

Responsabilidades

Own the platform architecture end-to-end with high-level and low-level designs.
Lead and line-manage a distributed team across backend, frontend, DevOps, QA and docs.
Design, build, and operate a bare-metal GPU scheduling layer using Slurm.
Own cluster bootstrap, lifecycle, and day-2 operations for partner-provided hardware.
Oversee managed inference at scale: multi-GPU, multi-node, autoscaling and routing.
Ensure observability across control plane, GPU fleet, and apps with SLOs and incident response.
Interface with partners and vendors; translate requirements into specs and tests.
Work with research, model-training, and product teams to translate workloads into platform needs.
Help hire and set technical standards for the platform team.
