AgileEngine is seeking a ServiceNow Discovery SME to serve as the platform and infrastructure authority for a large-scale Discovery environment. This role assesses system health across MID Servers and discovery schedules, translating operational runbooks into structured workflows and expanding automation.

You will bring deep infrastructure knowledge of Linux, Windows, networking, and an observability stack, with English at an upper-intermediate level, collaborating with global teams to improve

Formación

• 4+ years of software engineering experience with ServiceNow Discovery.
• Experience with MID Servers, Discovery Patterns/Probes, credentials, schedules and ECC Queue.
• Experience with CMDB/CSDM, CIs, identification and reconciliation, CMDB data quality.
• Practical knowledge of Linux, Windows Server, virtualization/cloud infra and services.
• Networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, SSH, WMI/WinRM, SNMP, HTTP/S.
• Experience with Prometheus, OpenTelemetry and Grafana for observability.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsabilidades

• Continuously assess the health of the ServiceNow Discovery ecosystem including MID Servers, schedules, and coverage.
• Convert runbooks and troubleshooting procedures into structured workflows to enable automation.
• Collect, aggregate, and interpret metrics from Discovery and logs to drive improvements.
• Investigate infrastructure attributes to ensure data quality and successful discovery.
