Job summary

Firstup is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to ensure reliability, security, and scalability of our enterprise IT environment. This remote, globally distributed role focuses on endpoints, identity, collaboration platforms, and security initiatives to support a growing workforce.

Reporting to the Director of Technology, you will own core infrastructure services, implement projects, and drive operational excellence across platforms like Google Workspace, Jamf, Okta, and MS Intune.

Qualifications

• Experience across macOS, Google Workspace, Jamf device management.
• Experience managing enterprise endpoint platforms, device lifecycle, patching, and asset management.
• Strong IAM knowledge including Okta, SSO, MFA, conditional access, user lifecycle, and access reviews.
• Experience with cloud-based SaaS provisioning, integrations, lifecycle management, and governance.
• Proven security controls, endpoint protection, compliance programs, and risk remediation.

Responsibilities

• Administer Google Workspace, MS Teams, Zoom, Slack, and collaboration tools.
• Manage endpoint devices across macOS and Windows, including provisioning and retirement.
• Configure and secure identity platforms (Okta, SSO, MFA) and access workflows.
• Oversee enterprise SaaS apps provisioning, integrations, and governance.
• Lead security and compliance initiatives, audits, and vulnerability remediation.
• Provide senior escalation support for complex technical issues.
