Job summary

Auditores Asociados Del Norte Slp is recruiting a seasoned Auditor de Cuentas for a fully remote role across Spain. The candidate will conduct comprehensive audits of financial statements for a diverse client portfolio, ensuring compliance with auditing standards and regulatory requirements.

The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple engagements remotely.

Qualifications

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• Professional qualification such as Auditor de Cuentas (ROAC) or equivalent (ACCA, CPA) is advantageous.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting or auditing.
• Thorough understanding of ISA, Spanish GAAP, and IFRS.
• Proficiency in audit software and advanced Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct financial audits for a diverse client base.
• Assess internal controls and identify risks and improvement areas.
• Examine records, systems and documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Perform substantive testing and analytical procedures.
• Prepare detailed audit reports with findings and recommendations.
• Communicate audit progress and findings with clients.
