Competenze

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• Professional qualification such as Auditor de Cuentas (ROAC) or equivalent (ACCA, CPA) is advantageous.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting or auditing.
• Thorough understanding of ISA, Spanish GAAP, and IFRS.
• Proficiency in audit software and advanced Microsoft Excel.

About the Role

Our client, a leading international auditing firm, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Auditor de Cuentas to join their expanding remote team. This is a fully remote position, providing the flexibility to work from anywhere in Spain. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive audits of financial statements for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with auditing standards and regulatory requirements. This role requires strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple engagements effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute financial audits for a range of clients across various industries.
• Assess internal controls and identify potential risks and areas for improvement.
• Examine financial records, accounting systems, and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Perform substantive testing and analytical procedures.
• Prepare detailed audit reports, including findings, conclusions, and recommendations.

• Stay updated on auditing standards, accounting principles, and regulatory changes.

Requirements

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as Auditor de Cuentas (ROAC registration is a significant advantage) or equivalent (e.g., ACCA, CPA).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting or auditing.
• Thorough understanding of auditing standards (ISA), Spanish GAAP, and IFRS.
• Proficiency in audit software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
