Grafana Labs is seeking an Engineering Manager for its application security team in a remote role across Europe, including Spain. You will craft security strategy, mentor engineers, and drive risk-based decisions while collaborating with product and platform teams.

You will review threat models, prioritize mitigations, and help shape secure design reviews. Strong leadership, cloud security, and AI-aware security experience are essential for success.

Formación

• Strong engineering background with ability to discuss technical decisions.
• Experience leading security engineering teams.
• Autonomy in security and product decisions.
• Familiar with AI and AI tooling in security.
• DevOps mindset with automation and guardrails.
• Experience securing cloud providers and Kubernetes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the Application Security team across security areas and tooling.
• Manage 1st and 3rd party vulnerability processes and disclosure.
• Provide technical coaching, drive incidents, and guide the team.
• Define and implement engineering strategy with security leadership.
• Conduct regular 1:1s and mentoring to maintain high engagement.
• Collaborate with engineering to influence product strategy and design.
• Engage in major incidents from preparation to customer communications.
• Review design documents and break projects into tasks.
