UST España & Latam is seeking a QA Automation Engineer (SDET) to join our Quality Engineering team. The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks for web apps, APIs, and enterprise systems in a remote setting.

You will implement tests with Selenium, Playwright, Karate, Postman, and JMeter, perform manual testing when required, and collaborate with developers, Product Owners, and Analysts throughout the SDLC in an Agile environment.

Formación

• Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer / SDET
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban)
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Teams
• Hands-on experience with testing tools such as Postman, SOAP testing tools, JMeter
• Strong functional analysis and testing capabilities
• Experience with manual and exploratory testing
• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL
• Knowledge of Java
• Experience with Selenium, Playwright, and Karate
• Strong communication and teamwork in a fast-paced Agile environment

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test suites for frontend, backend, and API testing.
• Perform manual and exploratory testing to validate business requirements and application functionality.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, and Karate.
• Create, execute, and monitor API tests using Postman and SOAP-based testing tools.
• Perform performance and load testing using JMeter.
• Collaborate closely with developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and support troubleshooting activities.
• Execute SQL queries for data validation and testing purposes.
• Maintain test documentation, test cases, and defect reports using JIRA and Confluence.
