Capitole is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to strengthen our technology team building digital utilities solutions. You will own automation across API and UI tests, craft and maintain Playwright-based pipelines, and drive quality in an Agile setting.

You will collaborate with DevOps, Platform, and Product teams, optimize test data and environments, and contribute to continuous QA improvements. Fluency in English is required, Alicante-based with hybrid work.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in Software Testing and QA
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript
• Experience with API testing, REST APIs, and microservices
• Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of asynchronous architectures and messaging (Kafka/RabbitMQ)
• Experience in Agile environments
• ISTQB certification is a plus
• Professional English (C1) is mandatory

Responsabilidades

• Define and execute functional and technical test strategies, scenarios, and test plans.
• Design, maintain, and execute automated tests for APIs and user interfaces.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support Continuous Testing and secure deployments.
• Manage test plans, test execution, defect tracking, and test coverage using Azure DevOps.
• Analyze test results and collaborate with Development, DevOps, Platform, Architecture, and Product teams.
• Contribute to test environment and test data management.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Refinement, and PI Planning.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, automation practices, and quality metrics
