Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for the Wind Remote Operations Center in Barcelona, Spain. You will monitor turbine performance, perform remote diagnostics, and collaborate with site teams to ensure reliable offshore wind asset operations throughout their lifecycle.

The role requires hands-on wind turbine experience, ability to read electrical schematics, and strong analytical skills. Fluency in English is essential; willing to relocate to Barcelona and EU work eligibility are

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
Hands-on wind turbine experience in operational environments.
Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics.
Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
Escalate complex issues with clear, structured technical information.
Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
Work on a rotating weekday shift with on-call support on weekends/public holidays.
