Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center (Wind Energy) based in Barcelona, Spain. You will monitor offshore wind assets remotely, analyze alarms, and drive continuous improvement across commissioning and service phases.

You will work with site teams and engineering experts to diagnose and resolve issues, ensuring safe, reliable turbine performance and robust data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent wind-energy experience.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics for troubleshooting and field support.
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving with clear technical communication.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.
• Fluent English; relocation to Barcelona and EU work eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms.
• Support commissioning and service through remote diagnostics.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvements.
• Support reporting of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and optimisation.
• Support grid outages with safety and compliance.
• Work a rotating weekday shift with on-call coverage.
