Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for Wind Remote Operations in Barcelona. You will oversee safe, efficient offshore wind asset operations from a remote center, supporting commissioning and service phases to ensure turbines operate reliably throughout their lifecycle.

You will interact with site teams and engineers, analyse data, diagnose issues, and drive improvements. Relocation to Barcelona and EU work eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on wind turbine or electromechanical system experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics for troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical and communication skills under pressure.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% and relocate to Barcelona.
• Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms.
• Support commissioning and service through remote diagnostics.
• Assist field teams in resolving issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support to resolve problems.
• Analyze operational data to identify faults and improvements.
• Assist with reporting and communication of findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety.
• Work rotating weekday shifts with on-call weekends/holidays.
