GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center (Wind Energy) in Barcelona. The role focuses on safe, efficient offshore wind asset operation, from commissioning through service, using remote diagnostics and field collaboration to keep turbines running smoothly.

You will monitor performance, analyze data, and coordinate with engineering teams to resolve issues, ensuring continuous improvement and compliance within a rotating shift pattern.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering or equivalent wind energy experience.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA systems and digital monitoring tools.
• Willingness to relocate to Barcelona and travel up to 20%.
• Fluent English; EU work eligibility.

Responsabilités

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Remote diagnostics and troubleshooting for commissioning and service.
• Assist field teams in resolving issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear, structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyze operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvements.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimization.
• Support grid outages with safety and compliance.
• Work on rotating weekday shifts with on-call rotation on weekends and holidays.
