Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead to operate offshore wind assets from a remote operations center in Barcelona. You will monitor turbines, analyse alarms, and support remote diagnostics to keep sites safe and productive.

You will collaborate with site teams and engineering experts across commissioning and service phases, translate complex issues into actionable steps, and contribute to continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
Hands-on wind turbine experience in operational environments.
Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting.
Experience with SCADA systems and digital monitoring tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with clear technical communication.
Willingness to relocate to Barcelona and travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms.
Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
