GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for its Remote Operations Center servicing wind assets. You will supervise offshore wind turbine operations from a centralized hub, diagnosing issues with engineers and field teams to maintain uptime and safety.

You will engage in commissioning and service activities, interpret SCADA data, and provide technical guidance. The role requires relocating to Barcelona, frequent collaboration across teams, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent wind energy experience.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or electromechanical systems in operations.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA systems and digital monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with clear technical communication.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time, if required.
• Fluent English (spoken and written); willingness to relocate to Barcelona; EU work eligibility.

Aufgaben

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with on-call support during weekends/public holidays.
