GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center in Barcelona to oversee offshore wind assets. You will monitor performance, diagnose faults, and collaborate with engineering teams to maintain reliable turbine operation throughout the lifecycle.

You will support commissioning and service activities with remote diagnostics, assist field teams, and contribute to process improvements while adhering to safety and compliance in a rotating weekday shift pattern with on-call duties.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience in wind energy.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or electromechanical systems in operational settings.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting and field support.
• Experience with SCADA systems and other digital monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with clear technical communication, calm under pressure.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time, if required.
• Fluent English (spoken and written), willingness to relocate to Barcelona and EU work eligibility.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
