Job summary

Medtronic seeks a Remote Technical Services Specialist in Surgical Robotics to provide remote technical support for the Hugo and DS1 systems across multiple regions. Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering with required experience.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2).
• Experience with robotics or motion control in large capital equipment.
• Experience with software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for the Robotic Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE and act as a technical liaison between stakeholders and the operating unit.
• Drive escalation to resolve customer issues and initiate field service when needed.
• Collaborate with other technical service specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Perform technical activities requiring considerable judgment and own continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure documentation/system entries are complete promptly.
• Focus on remote support with occasional onsite support domestically and internationally.
• Adhere to regular hours 8:00 - 16:30 CET with on-call rotation 7AM-7PM.
