Job summary

Atlantica Sustainable Infrastructure Plc is seeking a seasoned Remote Project Manager to lead solar and wind energy developments. This fully remote role requires steering projects from site assessment and permitting through construction oversight to commissioning, while coordinating distributed teams across multiple regions.

You will manage scope, budgets, and timelines, engage with regulators and suppliers, and communicate project status to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in renewable energy (solar, wind).
• Proven track record from inception to completion of projects.
• Fluent in English; Spanish language skills are advantageous.
• Experience with remote teams and virtual collaboration tools.
• Bachelor's degree; PMP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of renewable energy projects (solar, wind).
• Manage project scope, budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for complex energy projects.
• Oversee site selection, feasibility studies, environmental impact assessments, and permitting processes.
• Coordinate with engineering teams, regulatory bodies, and community stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high safety/quality standards.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, including technical, financial, and regulatory challenges.
• Manage contracts and relationships with suppliers and third-party service providers.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among remote project teams and stakeholders.
• Monitor project performance and provide regular status reports to senior management.
