Job summary

Santander is seeking a highly motivated Product Owner of Innovation to lead the development and launch of groundbreaking products in a remote, global team. You will shape product vision, strategy, and roadmaps, ensuring alignment with market needs and business goals.

You will work with engineering, design, marketing, and sales to bring innovative ideas to life, translating opportunities into detailed requirements, prioritizing the backlog, and tracking KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in product management or product ownership with emphasis on innovation and new product development.
• Proven experience launching successful new products or features.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
• Experience with market research and competitive analysis.
• Technical background or strong understanding of software development is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for innovative new products.
• Translate business needs and market opportunities into detailed product requirements and user stories.
• Prioritize the product backlog based on business value, customer needs, and technical feasibility.
• Collaborate with engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
• Work with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and engaging user experiences.
• Engage with stakeholders across the organization to gather feedback and ensure alignment.
• Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify new product opportunities.
• Define and track KPIs to measure success and inform future development.
• Facilitate product launch activities, including go-to-market strategies and internal training.
