Job summary

UATP is seeking a Manager, Product Management, Merchant Solutions, to lead the next-generation payment platform capabilities for the travel industry. This remote, globally distributed role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable payment solutions that meet merchant needs.

You will shape the product roadmap, translate business needs into precise requirements, and engage with PSPs and acquirers to ensure seamless API integrations and reliable payment flows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product management, preferably with payment systems.
• Deep knowledge of payment flows (cards, real-time, BNPL, refunds, settlements).
• Experience with APIs and cloud-native architectures.
• Proficiency in detailing requirement documentation (process flows, diagrams, specs).
• Proven ability to work with cross-functional technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on product roadmap, gather requirements, backlog definition, and feature delivery.
• Translate business needs into detailed product requirements and diagrams.
• Work with architects, developers, QA, DevOps, and business analysts.
• Define and monitor non-functional requirements for cloud-based systems.
• Engage with PSPs, acquirers, fraud and tokenization providers, FX services for API integrations.
• Support design and delivery of core payment platform capabilities for efficiency and scale.
• Stay updated on payment trends to align product evolution with market needs.
• Collaborate with commercial, compliance, and operations teams for objective-aligned development.
• Contribute to business cases, requirement docs, and executive presentations.
• Support go-to-market strategies and maintain customer feedback loops.
